    February 15, 2024

Breastfeeding Buddies and The Health Wellness Team at Community Healthcaring KW are partnering to bring the first ever, Indoor Intergenerational All Ages and All Abilities Walk, Talk And Stroll to Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge residents.  Everyone is Welcome.

Winter is not over yet….let’s walk and talk right into spring together…… Put this series on your Thursday morning calenders and meet us at Activa Sportplex any time between 10 and 11 am through April 2024.  Activa Sportplex is on Lennox Lewis Way – has a beautifully modern walking track, plenty of free parking and bus number 22 runs often to connect with the ION.  If help with transportation would support your attendance, please reach out to bfbuddies@healthcaringkw.org with Activa in the title of your eMail.

Staff will be there to welcome and support you, make connections, and walk along side you.  The track is above an ice rink and can be quite cool when starting out so wear your layers and everyone must wear appropriate walking shoes while in the track space.

The Activa Sports Complex is fully accessible with an elevator and all walking paces are welcome.

If you would you like to join the fun with your baby but you are not breastfeeding, we would still love to have you.  All feeding choices and methods are welcome.

Breastfeeding Check Ins will be available most weeks during this series and anytime by emailing bfbuddies@Healthcaringkw.org   These meets are a great way to ease yourself into going out with a new baby.   Other parents know what it is like and lots of them will be there too.

See you on our start date of February 15th, 2024.
