Breastfeeding Buddies is proud to provide peer breastfeeding support two days per week in both the Postpartum unit and Special Care Nursery at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
This program has been enhanced by a grant from the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation, with a focus on the “Hospital to Home to Community” aspect of the breastfeeding buddies support program.
The goal of the program is to help support moms with breastfeeding as soon as possible after delivery, and ensure that they are familiar with the various community supports available to them after release.
