At the Me Breastfeed prenatal workshop you will learn about what to expect the first 7 days after birth, how to overcome breastfeeding challenges and where to go for help and support. This workshop is lead by peer breastfeeding volunteers that have lived breastfeeding experience and are trained by the Breastfeeding Buddies Program of Waterloo Region.
We are here to help you meet your breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and pumping goals!

This in-person workshop will be held at EarlyON | Water Street- 73 Water St N Cambridge from 6:30-8:30pm.

Beyond the Basics: Return to Work/Breastfeeding Beyond a Year

March 9, 2023“Are you STILL breastfeeding?” “Breastmilk has no benefits after a certain age….”
Many parents are given misinformation and face criticism about breastfeeding their children beyond infancy. Join experienced breastfeeding buddies for a conversation about why breastfeeding beyond a year is normal and an important health decision for you and your child! Toddlers welcome!
Families will also have the opportunity to learn about working with your body to continue your breastfeeding journey with and around your work schedule. This workshop will be offered Virtually over Zoom. Advance registration for each session is required here.
