Become a Buddy

Did you know that the Breastfeeding Buddies program of the Waterloo Region recently received a grant from the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation to expand peer breastfeeding support?

The campaign will mobilize many levels of partnerships to improve hospital-to-community supports and engage with priority populations to increase breastfeeding rates across Waterloo Region.

Stay tuned for updates on “The Building Supportive Breastfeeding Communities Campaign.”

24 2:00 pm: Craving Connection CAMBRIDGE 2:00 pm: Craving Connection CAMBRIDGE 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm August 24, 2021 Happening at 2pm on Tuesdays at Soper Park in Cambridge Our in-person meetups will be weather permitting. If there is rain in the forecast, please refer to our social media (Facebook/Instagram) pages before heading to the location. Any same-day cancellations will be announced 1hr before the event. After you arrive, sign in, and complete screening, find yourself a spot to sit. We do recommend that you bring a blanket for yourself and baby to sit on, and whatever toys/items you will require to keep baby entertained. During Breastfeeding Buddies Cravings Connections sessions, Covid-19 restrictions will be observed. 2m distance is required between all participants from separate households, including children/babies.
