10:00 am: Walk & Talk: LATCH ON CHALLENGE!10:00 am: Walk & Talk: LATCH ON CHALLENGE! – A very special Walk & Talk will be happening this week in celebration of Canadian Breastfeeding Week! We will be hosting a "Latch On Challenge", where we gather as many Breastfeeding/Chestfeeding/Pumping Parents as possible, and at 11am, everyone feeds their baby at the same time! If you are not local, you can join us on Instagram Live as we broadcast the event. We will be meeting at 10am in Victoria Park, near the Playground. At 10:55am, we will go live on our social media channels to celebrate Canadian Breastfeeding Week with those who can't make it in person to the event. Registration is NOT required for this drop-in style event. In the case of inclement weather, we will meet in the community room at Kitchener Downtown Community Health Centre instead. |

Become a Buddy
Did you know that the Breastfeeding Buddies program of the Waterloo Region recently received a grant from the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation to expand peer breastfeeding support?
The campaign will mobilize many levels of partnerships to improve hospital-to-community supports and engage with priority populations to increase breastfeeding rates across Waterloo Region.
Stay tuned for updates on “The Building Supportive Breastfeeding Communities Campaign.”
