Return to Work and Breastfeeding is a workshop for parents who are currently breastfeeding and planning a return to work or school in the coming months. Families will have the opportunity to learn about working with your body to continue your breastfeeding journey with and around your work schedule as well as tips and strategies for those families who are wanting to wean their baby.  This workshop will be offered Virtually over Zoom. Our in-person meetups will be weather permitting. If there is rain in the forecast, please refer to our social media (Facebook/Instagram) pages before heading to the location. Any same-day cancellations will be announced 1hr before the event.

After you arrive, sign in, and complete screening, find yourself a spot to sit. We do recommend that you bring a blanket for yourself and baby to sit on, and whatever toys/items you will require to keep baby entertained.

During Breastfeeding Buddies Cravings Connections sessions, Covid-19 restrictions will be observed. 2m distance is required between all participants from separate households, including children/babies. Masks are mandatory during screening, and any time a distance of 2m can not be observed.

This workshop is lead by peer breastfeeding volunteers that have lived breastfeeding experience and are trained by the Breastfeeding Buddies Program of Waterloo Region.
